The extraordinary efforts of many organisations to protect workers and serve customers during the COVID-19 pandemic have also increased the exposure to cyberthreats. Large-scale adoption of work-from-home technologies, heightened activity on customer-facing networks, and greater use of online services all present fresh openings, which cyber attackers have been quick to exploit.
October is European Cybersecurity Month, and we at IRDG would like to play our part in helping raise the awareness and ensure all our member companies get secure and stay secure.
Tuesday, October 20th, 9.30 – 11am
To this end, we have organised a 90-minute webinar which will be led by member companies Microsoft and FireEye, both of whom have expertise in this area. Together they will provide an overview of the current cybersecurity issues and highlight some practical steps that organisations can take to get secure and stay secure.
Please note this session is not purely aimed at the IT leaders. We are designing it to be an informative event, for people across all functions and industries who need to be more aware and appreciative of the risks in this area. We promise it won’t be full of jargon and will be presented in an open manner with lots of opportunity for your questions to be answered.
- Terry Landers, Microsoft’s Chief Standards Officer for Europe Middle East and Africa
- Michael Trevett, Director, Professional Services UK and Consulting, FireEye
- Robert Cameron, Senior Director, Customer Support EMEA, FireEye
