If you are claiming R&D Tax Credits this year, or have at any time in the past 4 years, you need to be certain that you can stand over your claim in the event of an Audit. To support your claim the Revenue Commissioners may look for further information in the form of 23 Questions or they may conduct full Desk, Financial and Technical Audits of your claim. Any company seen to be overstating it’s claim or presenting insufficient documentation may face repayment and/or penalties and interest. This Dublin seminar on the 18th February will help you to be ‘Audit Ready’.
The Department of Finance will also speak about the first major Review of Ireland’s R&D Tax Credit Scheme which was published in October 2013.
Uniquely featuring the Dept. of Finance Policy Makers, the Revenue Inspectors, the Tax Professionals and Industry Representatives, you will hear how the Scheme is understood and applied in practice, get a feel for the updated Guidelines, and hear the experience of those who have been audited. There will also be ample time for questions and discussion at the end.
We invite you to join us for this highly informative session during which you will also enjoy valuable networking with others who share your interest in this topic and Innovation in general.
This IRDG Innovation Network event is supported by Enterprise Ireland through the EIN.
