We’ll kick of 2020 with one of our most popular events in the IRDG network is in Waterford in January, the R&D Tax Credit Clinic. It takes place in The Granville Hotel, and on this occasion is held in conjunction with Deloitte. IRDG’s R&D Tax Credit clinics are a great way for members to keep up to date with ongoing developments to the R&D Tax Credit scheme, and to share experiences with other companies. Updates from the recent budget, along with key outcomes from the 2019 R&D Tax Credit scheme review will be included in this Waterford clinic.
Supporting an R&D Tax Credit should not be a retrospective exercise. Having access to complete, up-to-date and accurate information on the two key tests – the science test and the accounting test – is critical. The implementation of systems and procedures for the capturing of relevant supporting documentation further strengthens your claim.
These clinics are exclusive to IRDG members and relevant to those responsible for managing and recording R&D activity for the purposes of claiming Tax Credits. These clinics therefore are suited to those in Finance and in the Technical functions – all parties to a tax credit claim.
