The Enterprise Ireland R&D Advocates Programme is designed to help companies develop and grow through engaging in technical innovation, development and design. The assistance is provided to determine if R&D can help your business.
Companies are appointed an R&D Advocate, from a panel of Enterprise Ireland approved Advocates. The R&D Advocate will make an initial half-day visit to your company. The meeting provides a safe, yet structured, forum for you to take a fresh look at your business, including how your resources are currently allocated and discuss your future research and development needs and plans.
Following this half-day meeting you can apply to engage the services of an R&D Advocate for a further 3 days.
The ultimate aim is that new developments through technical innovation or design will strengthen your company’s position and lead to increased sales into new markets.
ELIGIBILITY: The R&D Advocates Programme is open to existing and potential clients of Enterprise Ireland, Údarás na Gaeltachta and the City & County Enterprise Boards that meet both of the following criteria:
- A small or medium sized company (SME)
- Involved in manufacturing or eligible services activity in the Republic of Ireland
FUNDING: The initial half-day visit is free. If after this visit, you are interested in engaging further, you can apply for an additional 3 days consultancy support at a subsidised rate. Enterprise Ireland pays €600 per day and the client pays €300 + VAT per day for this consultancy support.
