Innovation Visit to founding members Analog Devices, Limerick

We are delighted to extend an invitation to join us for a very special Innovation Practice Group (IPG) visit to one of IRDG’s founding members, Analog Devices.

Thursday 22nd August from 9.30am to 3.00pm in Raheen Business Park, Limerick.

Analog Devices and R&D

Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) is a world leading supplier of semiconductor technology to the communications, industrial, automotive, healthcare and consumer markets. Founded in Boston in 1965, and established in Limerick in 1976, ADI has over 15,000 employees worldwide, with 1,300 of these located in Ireland.  The company has a long and successful history of providing leading edge technology enabling the interface between the real and the digital worlds.

The Irish site has approximately 700 people engaged directly in R&D (with full product autonomy) and has been a pioneer in several domains, particularly in Industrial R&D. The megatrends of Artificial Intelligence, Industrial IoT, Automation, Autonomous Vehicles, 5G Communications and Mobile Health are providing opportunities for ADI to innovate within ever expanding technology spheres.

Why Attend?

This IRDG Innovation Practice Group visit will provide an opportunity to not only see what happens at the ADI Limerick site but to get a sense of some of the newer business and innovation models emerging as ADI continues to evolve its operations to meet a dramatically changing market place.

The agenda will include discussions on Measureware, Software, New Business Models in Industrial Smart Buildings/Cities, their Catalyst Innovation Centre, Practical Demos, a tour of facilities and more.

As always, it will also provide a superb opportunity to network with Innovation Leads from across a diverse range of companies and to share experiences.
