We are delighted to extend an invitation to join us for a very special Innovation Practice Group (IPG) visit to one of IRDG’s founding members, Analog Devices.
Thursday 22nd August from 9.30am to 3.00pm in Raheen Business Park, Limerick.
Analog Devices and R&D
Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) is a world leading supplier of semiconductor technology to the communications, industrial, automotive, healthcare and consumer markets. Founded in Boston in 1965, and established in Limerick in 1976, ADI has over 15,000 employees worldwide, with 1,300 of these located in Ireland. The company has a long and successful history of providing leading edge technology enabling the interface between the real and the digital worlds.
The Irish site has approximately 700 people engaged directly in R&D (with full product autonomy) and has been a pioneer in several domains, particularly in Industrial R&D. The megatrends of Artificial Intelligence, Industrial IoT, Automation, Autonomous Vehicles, 5G Communications and Mobile Health are providing opportunities for ADI to innovate within ever expanding technology spheres.
This IRDG Innovation Practice Group visit will provide an opportunity to not only see what happens at the ADI Limerick site but to get a sense of some of the newer business and innovation models emerging as ADI continues to evolve its operations to meet a dramatically changing market place.
The agenda will include discussions on new business models in precision sensing, software and industrial systems, their Catalyst Centre, practical demos, a tour of facilities and more.
As always, it will also provide a superb opportunity to network with Innovation Leads from across a diverse range of companies and to share experiences.
This visit is exclusively organised for IRDG members, and capacity is limited. Please only book to attend if you are definite you can do so. One person only per company initially.
Note: A waiting list will be in operation once any available places have been booked, so please do join that if you wish to attend and we will come back to you if cancellations arise. Contact Mary Byrne for any assistance – email@example.com
