Are you up to speed with the R&D Tax Credit Guidelines?

Busy morning in Galway today at our R&D Tax Credit Clinic. These clinics, with small groups of 30-40 people from different member companies, are a great way to dig into the detail of the R&D Tax Credit scheme. Content includes revenue guidance, finance & scientific criteria, documentation requirements, audit preparation, experience sharing. Our thanks to KPMG for hosting today’s session along with our own Bernie McGahon of IRDG.  Next Clinic in the diary is the 13th March in Dublin.

IRDG’s Intellectual Property Workshop

Full house working hard at our Intellectual Property workshop recently, ably led by Dr. John P Mc Manus. Valuable assets in the form of IP are a constant development arising from new technologies, products and processes in RD&I performing companies. Managing that IP and creating strategic business advantage from it are key!  We’ll be hosting a seminar on IP later in 2019 so there will be a further opportunity to explore it along with the Knowledge Development Box (KDB).

Funding & Support: MANUNET – funding transnational research projects in Manufacturing

Launched Jan 2019 (extract from IRDG RD&I members’ Funding Brief, Jan 2019)

Manunet is a network of development agencies whereby each agency uses its own funding programmes to support international collaborative projects performed by companies in the manufacturing sector. Currently, the network comprises countries – Ireland, Germany, Luxembourg, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey and also regions in Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Belgium.
