IRDG Vision & Strategic Objectives
Ireland must become one of the top three Research, Development and Innovation performers in Europe by 2013, the R&D spend by industry must double over the same period as must the number of RD&I performers.
Vision Statement
- IRDG will act as the representative body for member companies, in the manufacturing and service sectors involved in Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I).
- IRDG will provide extensive RD&I services to its members.
- IRDG will be the recognised, accepted and approved authority on and provider of RD&I promotional services to companies in Ireland.
- Implementation of this vision will complement the existing actions being undertaken by the relevant agencies.

- Ensure funding is available for industry RD&I.
- Membership of 330.
- Promotion of RD&I.

- Preparation of project proposals.
- Preparation of project claims.
